Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is most well-known for her part in House on Fox. Born in Wayne with a strict Jewish traditions, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in theatre at Tisch School of Arts. The school was heavily involved in the club scene in New York City and made enough noise to get noticed from the news media. In the meantime she began to become conscious of AIDS and its devastating impacts. Eventually she used her training along with her fame and training to write and compose a musical called Positive Me as well as to appear in the show. Awake to the Wild Side, a show she hosted for MTV quickly became her new job. When it ended up going off the air, she began appearing in films and television production at first in small roles and gradually established herself as an actor.
