Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. Not only was the win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson to fame and fortune, but it also secured her an agreement in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. Since then she has recorded numerous studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly missed the coveted spot. Her name is among the biggest artists that come out of The American Idol series. She began to experiment with music and themes as her success grew. For her uniqueness and vocal talent, she has received critical acclaim as well as a variety of awards. Grammy Award Grammy Award is her most highly regarded award. Apart from her professional career in music, she's also seen on TV and in film. In addition, she is the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charities.
